Spending Away our Future-

Instead of creating jobs, Democrats in Washington D.C. have taken American taxpayer dollars and spent in record amounts.  Government has increased in size by 64% since President Obama’s inauguration, the largest expansion in 3 decades.

How much is Obama spending?

  • $787 Billion Stimulus Bill passed in February.
  • $410 Billion Omnibus Spending Bill passed in March that contains earmarks totaling $7.7 billion.
  • $450 Billion Omnibus Spending Bill passed in December which increases non-defense discretionary spending by 12% from the previous year.
  • With a vote of 217-212, clearly drawn down partisan lines, the House passed Nancy Pelosi’s $174 Billion Jobs Bill in December.
  • As of the 2009 Fiscal Year, the USA has a record deficit of $1.42 Trillion.  This is three times more then the prior year.
  • In 2010, the United States of America has a $390 Billion deficit in the first fiscal quarter that is expected to reach $1.5 Trillion by years end.
  • Now Democrats are pushing for their $2.5 Trillion Government-Run Heath Care/ Health Care Reform to get passed.

Obama and Democrats plan on paying for these programs with a new set of tax schemes.  They've introduced the idea of imposing a tax on banks, a Stock Transaction Tax, a National Sales Tax, and a National Energy Tax.  The Energy Tax alone is expected to reduce employment by 964,900 jobs a year.
